Peter Such vs Pat Symcox

Symcox was OK on tracks that helped. Such was dire on any pitch. Symcox can bat as well. But both are insult to the craft they bowl.

Peter Such was a decent bowler - would have won plenty more caps had he been better with the bat

What was Pat Symcox? Seemed to play every game against India at one time. But his bowling stats are atrocious for someone who was a regular. He did more with bat than with ball in fact.

Such was strange, wasn't a world beater by any means but almost always managed to lift when playing Australia. Makes him the opposite of every other English player of the era except perhaps Dean Headley

Couple of massively slept on bowlers here. Such was quality, possibly should have been given an extended run during the mid-90s as I feel we never saw the best of him at international level.

Loved big Pat Symcox, the cricketing world needs more characters like him. Always managed to weedle out a key wicket too.

I'll never stop enjoying the Prince bat. One of his greatest ODI innings' that ^

Here's a funny little memory of Pat.
