Hope has hit form in all three formats going in to 2019. I find it tough to see whom I would swap him for from your side. Same is the case with Faf as proteas have a packed first quarter schedule (more than any team perhaps).

Nah Hope was weak in Tests, definitely hit form in ODIs.
Sure if you include Starc for Malinga in that deal.
MarkraM & Hope for Finch and Nicholls?

Well it depends. Nicholls averages the most this year and Finch is the highest ranked white ball bat. Australia will play a ton of ODIs this year too.
In fact its a great offer considering Anil doesn't have any player from Australia, New Zealand.
Finch might not even play tests once Warner and Smith are back. Nicholls is just a test player (4th best batsman in his team) while both Markram and Hope will likely play all formats (the only doubt being Markram not playing t20s).
Chandimal for Faf sounds good after quarter 1. Right now, no. Mathews and his injuries are always a concern
Im glad you said this. I honestly thought it was decent. I know that Hope was picked before Nicholls by a decent amount, but it doesnt mean much now. There are going to be players picked early who are going to fail and players picked late who will dominate.
