It does get a bit ridiculous when they’re saying stuff like “look how annoyed he is he drove that ball into the stumps at the other end!!” as though he’s the only batsman who’s ever cracked the ****s at doing that.

It’s weird they’ve been given these riding instructions, because their audience is local and it’s universally known the bloke is a Grade A **** of the highest order anyway.

Picking Siddle, particularly in the ODI format is just ludicrously bad isn't it?

It's almost as though the selectors don't realise that there are different formats.

Jane Richardson, Nathan Coulter- Nile or Tye would all have been much better choices. Heck, even Meredith might be worth a look. But Siddle should be nowhere near selection. He didn't even play the JLT.
