Already has 256 wickets and is only 30 of course he has a chance of getting there. Seems an improved bowler in the last couple of years too so if he keeps that up he can do it.

I have a feeling that in a couple of years Ishant will be dropped from the team for being too old, or some other lame reason, while the selectors pick younger inferior bowlers and the fans clamour for his return to the side.

I have hope that Umesh will slowly move up the pecking order. With Shami, Umesh, Bumrah, Bhuvi and Hardik to compete with, Ishant will not get enough tests to take 400.
