Australian Domestic Season 2018/19

Redbacks squad announced, somewhat surprised to see Joof over Carey as captain. Good to see young Spencer Johnson in the squad, with a name like that he really couldn't be anything other than a pace bowler

That Victoria squad is very exciting.

Who is going to open for Tassie.. Silk I guess with maybe Wade?

Im keen to see Max Bryant opening for QLD.

No Winter shows how strong the SACA pace attack is.

My Redbacks XI

1. Weatherald
2. Carey (WK)
3. Ferguson
4. Lehmann (C)
5. Ross
6. Cooper
7. Valente
8. Zampa
9. Richardson
10. Johnson
11. Worrall

Worrall over Sayers was a tough choice, but I went for Franky because he is half a yard quicker.

A few teenagers selected and you don't need a CA XI :)

WA : Green
Vics : Harvey, O'Connell, Sutherland
Qld : Bryant, Bartlett

Maybe NSW : J.Edwards, Sangha, Uppal

Looking forward 2 the youngsters playing George Edwards,Wilf Sutherland,Jason Sangha,Aaron Summer, and other youngsters.
WA have no spinner other than Agar first 2 games, how he got away with it heaven knows.Ash Turner and Darcy Short to bowl the 5th over, unless Cameron Green bowls as the 5th bowler.
Sangha may play and bowl as the 2nd spinner, not that O'keefe has good one day stats averages mid 50's.But at 8 he is handy with the bat.

BTW UAE has a T20 same time as Big Bash and offering bigger cash, may see some international plays playing it,and its shorter than home and away Big Bash,oh they have Devilliers and Johnson so far.

Some Windies players have signed up a few Pakistanis. Its hotting up.Definitely harder 2 get overseas players, greed.

Was mentioning this in the emerging thread. There are articles in the press about how it will effect Big Bash. These figures are crazy in UAE - Eoin Morgan and Dave Miller are also icon players with AB de Villiers & Andre Russell. Morgan is supposedly on £270,000 to feature.

Big Bash doesn't deserve the best overseas players anyway given how they're treated. Being told they're ***ist and not to come back. Bull****

Chris Gayle was an ordinary player in the Bash and not in the league of the Best.I was a Thunder fan when he couldn't buy a run.His Renegades season was a meaghe 30 average.

Brockers, im pretty sure WA will be ok with bowling options when Agar leaves.

Stoinis, Short, Turner and Cartwright will be all be in the top 6
