He's playing for Fairfield this week against Parra.

Interesting* they picked Sangha. Weird how you can get fast-tracked. Jack Edwards was always going to play after his JLT heroics, but the bloke has a first grade average of 12.

    The people demand Bertus.

    *Ridiculous.

No wait that was posted 31 July. Stupid cricket.com.au recommending me that post after reading the article about Wildermuth coming back.

I thought it was current. Carry on.

Are the Thunder interested in Bertus?

I donít think so. He was in the Sixers development side last year or the season before. Copperfield was with the Thunder but I donít think he got a contract this season (after taking 40 plus wickets and making a first grade ton, why would you?)

Dempsey would be a good random pick up for one of the Sydney franchises as a back up player. Bowls handy meds and absolutely brutalises the ball.

Wow. Edwards did average only 14.71 last year across 8 innings. Didnt think it was that poor when comms mentioned he hadnt scored a first class ton

Lol Fmd they made Uppal captain of the second XI side. In a ****ing dirge of a start to the summer for Australian cricket, this is the absolute pits.

    Redbacks Shield squad

Very glad to see Lloyd Pope in line for his FC debut, by all accounts he was really getting some good rip on them in the Futures League game. The batting on the other hand looks pretty light, they pretty much have to play Valente at 7 to avoid an absurdly long tail. On balance I am really not optimistic

That's former South Australian #3 batsman Kane Richardson that you've got down at 10, there.

Yeah I remember that, another one of Darren Berry's more "interesting" ideas. In all seriousness though he would definitely bat ahead of the Chadd if he plays

Why's Sangha particularly interesting/ridiculous? Seems like he's got the Grade runs behind him over the past season, at least.

But yeah, really do need some #Bertmentum in the side.
