Australian Domestic Season 2018/19

Disappointing. He would have added a lot to the tournament
Haha yeah he seems to be in something close to career best batting form if his T20 Blash performances are any indication. If he plays grade all season in any state he'll probably end up with a couple of Shield games; it'd probably make more sense for him to do the T20 circuit instead though.

Well his all-rounder replacement at Vic, Will Sutherland, has 2 for 3 at the moment including Chris Lynn for a duck. Turns out the CEO of Cricket Australia actually can do something worthwhile.

Bryant looks a goer. Possibly very limited though. Anything outside off goes the distance but doesn't seem to be able to do much with the straighter ball.

As I say that though the Vics keep bowling wide of off stump to him . . . the old saying about fast bowlers' intelligence springs to mind

Damn was enjoying that innings.
Looks like Billy's gone to get a bat.

Can't believe Victoria played 3 pacemen here, that could keep QLD in the game.

Damn Wildermuth out.
Billy cometh the man with the bat.

C'mon Billy.

Yes good bowling by Sutherland.
Loose over by O'connell.

This could be harder than it looks 2 bowl them out.
Steketee can bat.

Both sides putting some inexperience up the top and experience in the middle. Vics had Short and Harris opening, with Maxwell and Maddinson at 5 & 6.

Well that's the end of that, Tremain removes Bartlett and Swepson in consecutive overs. Looked like a game neither team really wanted to win at times

Tom O'Connell hype ?

Pretty amazed at the efforts Victoria have made for him whilst at school in Adelaide.

It was the right call at the time, trying to finish the innings by taking the wickets quickly
On reflection I would have to agree, positive captaincy to look to knock over the tail. Swepson's unexpected competence with the willow almost made it backfire but it worked out in the end.
