Same Name Draft

AndrewB

International Vice-Captain
This would be a six-round draft: in each round you pick 2 players who have a name in common, to give your final XI plus a substitute.

My suggestion for how the rule works would be:
- Stick to the names a player is usually known by, so no picking (say) Robert Simpson along with Robert Neil Harvey or Allan Robert Border.
- Within that rule, allow either name to be shared, so any pair of (say) Steve James, Kevin James and James Anderson would be a valid pick.

Anyone interested?

Do AB and AB count? Are different spelling variants of Muhammad okay? Just interested. Have a lot on atm so won't go in draft

Are middle names allowed? Is picking, say a Richard and Richards allowed?
