Greatest 'medium slow' spinner

Who do you think is the greatest medium slow spinner? We're considering guys who were considered quick for a spinner but slower than Barnes and Bedser here.

Who do you pick from Tiger, Kumble, Chandra, and Underwood? Feel free to add those whom I may have missed.

I'm sure Afridi's quicker delivery was faster than what many Indian tearaway quicks managed.

Kumble, because all others had **** wickets to bowl on while Kumble all his life bowled on covered wickets.

Nah, Australia was a pretty good place to bat on inter war and O'Reilly thrived. Not like subcontinent conditions are the worst for a spinner anyway. Tiger did pretty well on pitches he described as 'being dosed up to the eyeballs' where Hutton scored his triple ton, taking 22 in 4 matches in the series @ 27.

I'm interested to see people rank them instead of just naming the best one.
I'll go Tiger, Kumble, Chandra, Verity, Underwood.

Can't rate the pre WWII or post WWII spinners much given that not many of them bowled to the best players of spin. I know they bowled to the best players of their times, but India has consistently produced the best players of spin for 50+ years, also bowling in India is a completely different thing, as Aussies would know. Someone like peak Sehwag or Siddhu have dominated the likes of Warne & Murali on tough pitches as well.

So you don't rate any spinner at all? Can't fault you there.
In the context of how the game has evolved, especially post DRS, it's impossible to rate them, or gauge them on a relative basis.

There hasn't been a better player of spin than Bradman lol. Hammond and Headley are among the absolute elite players of spin as well. O'Reilly troubled both Bradman and Hammond. I don't believe anyone could've been significantly better so as to make it a no contest.

Haha you still haven't worked out what you did.
I don't need to, because the forum's already made up it's mind that the best spinners in Aus, Eng will also be great in India. Not to mention bowling spin everywhere is pretty much the same? Anyone who's watched Sehwag will know that he's easily one of the top 10 players of spin the last 30 or even 50 years of cricket. Also that batting on a day 3/4/5 Indian minefied, against Indian spinners, is like a totally diferent ballgame than playing some of the others in say Eng, Aus.

Objectively speaking you can't compare spinners from vastly different eras, subjectively of course - Don is the best player of spin ever.

In case you're wondering - here's the typo, fixed -
Can't rate the too many pre WWII or post WWII
spinners much given that few of them bowled to the best players of spin.
