Unfortunately Morgan is in the England database in CC '18. I'm afraid you'll have to replace him Samuel.

On the bright side version 18.01 of the game was released yesterday, & among the improvements listed on Steam is "Improved Ireland abilities". Looks like they got a buff.

Yes, Morne in & Parnell out. Don't need a left arm option, since Morkel is just so much better.

Wait so does the Sim only consider stats for the players between those years? Might need to make changes if so.

Of course it doesn't. The players have a set rating which remains unchanged. I sim these games using "All-time greats mode" which doesn't take a player's age into consideration. Players ratings are based on career averages.

What about playing conditions today, including rule changes, how big of a factor is that, if at all?

And strike rates I assume? Does it adjust in any way for eras

That's a good question. I have no idea. I know they've done a lot of work on career strike rates for this new game, so I guess we'll find out. I don't think their player ratings are 100% stat-based anyway.
