Bavuma too has played well. Wonder why the jokers were sent in ahead of him.

It's good seeing what de Bruyn is actually capable of, hopefully South Africa can give him a but of a solid run in the team now. Think he has had somewhat of a case of Andy Bichel syndrome, spending so long sitting on the bench mixing drinks that he is short of match practice when he actually does get selected.

This is the first time De Bruyn's been given a chance up the order (barring one occasion where he opened), which is where he bats domestically. So perhaps batting in a more familiar position has helped him.

Just mixing drinks? Well, that's better than some of NZ's 12th men in the past I guess :ph34r:
