Quite - part of CW tradition that all polls should have an irrelevant final optionSteve Smith
If ABDV is so good against the moving ball he should bat higher. Smith is the better all- conditions batsman. ABDV has underperformed in tests.ABDV is much better batman against moving ball than even Smith.. It's as if quality of opposition bowling or pitch conditions are completely irrelevant to him. Has definitely underachieved in this format (not often when you say that for a guy averaging 50).
Hmm, let's see who makes more Test runs over the next year. That should decide it.If ABDV is so good against the moving ball he should bat higher. Smith is the better all- conditions batsman. ABDV has underperformed in tests.
ABDV had a tendency to enter god mode. Smith has it permanently turned on.
At their best, ABDV is a level above any other batsman including Smith.. I agree he is less consistent though. If ABDV is so good against the moving ball he should bat higher. Smith is the better all- conditions batsman. ABDV has underperformed in tests.

It's not even a poll for the best Test batsman in a world, it just says "better". It's just a poll with four names on it, asking us to pick one. If the poll asked us to compare Dinesh Chandimal to Faf du Plessis that'd be a perfectly valid poll as well.Dunno why people are saying Smith, this isn't a poll for "The Best Banned Test Batsman"
