Been an abysmal tournament weather wise but hopefully the ending has no issues there.

Cobras, Warriors & Lions look in SFs. Just whether Dolphins can just sneak in over Titans after last nights results.

Basically this is the majority of guys going to the u19 CWC next year in SA. SA hasn't hosted sinced 1998. Guys like Kent, van Wyk, Robbie P, Bodi, Grant Elliott, Rudolph, Myburgh & Michael Lumb were in the SA squad. Immie Tahir was in the Pakistan squad and it is where he met his wife.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Wednesday announced the South Africa under-19s squad that will take on Pakistan in a seven-match, Youth One-Day International series at home from June 22 to July 7 2019.

Bryce Parsons will captain the squad of 15.

The tour, which forms a vital part of the home side’s preparation for the ICC U19 World Cup which will be hosted by South Africa early next year, will be played at Pietermaritzburg Oval and Chatsworth Oval.

CSA High Performance Manager, Vincent Barnes said: "The selection committee has selected a well-balanced team which will be up against talented and skilful opposition. The majority of the players recently toured India and also qualify to represent South Africa in the ICC U19 World Cup next year, so this will be more invaluable experience for them. I wish coach Lawrence Mahatlane and his team all the best for the series."

So you have three bowlers that have a bit of pace about them (Coetzee, Cloete, Ntanzi).

The South African pace production line keeps rolling on

It feels weird. The period where we had to go to Dewald Pretorius, Johann Louw or Lonwabo Tsotsobe doesn't feel too long ago.

But you got think we set for fast-bowling for some time.

Batsmen in SA could do with waking up. :D

Akeem Minnaar is one hell of a name #analysis
Analysis of the player or the name ? :D

Honeslty don't know a lot on the player. Keeper/bat for Boland. Goes to Klein Nedeburg which will be a school right in farming/wine country. See he plays for Paarl Cricket club.

For the name. Coming from the Western Cape and with the first name Akeem you assume Muslim & most muslims in Western Cape are of Cape Malay back ground ? Happy to be corrected but that is what I know. Minnaar is an Afrikaans surname which a lot of coloured people have in South Africa.

when i tag posts with #analysis it means they contain anything but that ;) Thanks anyway for the research

(ps: I assume Paark should read Paarl?)

Lions v Dolphins
Warriors v Cobras

Double-header semi-finals.

Not exactly been great for our Proteas. Now Ngidi won't have games for Titans.

Frylinck, Maharaj or Philander would have all been better choices than Pretorius
The more I think about it, the more there is no way we can play both Phehlukwayo and Pretorius in the same team if they wanted to go with 2 out-and-out quicks only.

No they can never play in the same ODI team. Pretorius is pure cover for Andile.

Fancy the Lions if they get off to a good start but if Dolphins strike early and with all their spinners it could be real tough for the Lions.
