It also seems a modern trend and it certainly is new in SA but a lot of our best young batsman are keeping. Might have helped them with their batting and vice-versa.
Putting it out there as it is done ... Rudi Second is leaving the Knights (Another one lol) and returning home to the Warriors. Quality signing.

Club Champs is happening April I think which normally ends off the season.

Good to have a few bowlers in form in case Ngidi / Nortje's injuries rule them out of the WC. I'd say Morris and Sipamla are ahead of Dala though... It doesn't look like anyone of the Dolphins / Warriors can stop the Titans even playing with Masondo as basically a specialist keeper!

I do like him. Great sweeper and reserve sweeper and shot-making is good on the eye. Still needs to work out where he is best used as a batsman.

They obviously have a lot of work to do after the players they have lost and quite frankly some were just poor. Mnyanda, Leie and Qwabe will be released. Second to the Warriors. de Lange/McLaren on pay as you play and Olivier likely to be like Rossouw/Abbott and not play at all due to the circumstances of leaving.
So currently got 11 contracted : Gous, van Tonder, Petersen, van Biljon, Mokoena, Kruger, van Schalkwyk, Dry, Budaza, Baartman, Ntuli
Signing Makwetu. Got to imagine Gerald Coetzee and maybe Thando Mnyaka will come up from Free State along with Gerrie Snyman from Northern Cape.
Supposedly targeting SA u19 North West beanpole left-arm quick Marco Jansen. Nandre Burger and Shaun von Berg.
Problem at the Lions is there squad is full on guys contracted till next season as were given 2 year-deals. Nandre Burger, Marco Jansen, Delano Potgieter aren't on their current contract list which has lead to a bit of a fight for Nandre Burger.

Try Webcricket Woodster. Although I'm not sure if stats are collected for every provincial club league but there are scorecards. Free State might be limited though.
