Saw some of the highlights briefly of Renshaw and some of his shots were very Hayden-esque. He just needs to gain about 30kg of solid muscle and he'll be the same bloke.
It's weird, he sort of looked like Hayden at the crease at first. Then all of a sudden he lofts an Indian spinner over their head in Pune and he's been drunk on power ever since.

Thank god he's the complete opposite of Hayden in both looks and demeanour tbh. Doesn't look even close to being homo neanderthalis

Gurinder Sandhu signs with Tasmania.Unlikely to get on the park unless he bowls his spinners tho.
I actually think it'd interesting to see them use him in a "fourth seamer in the first innings, spin option later in the game if they need it" kind of capacity. I don't think he's actually taken his spin all that seriously but it looked genuinely non-**** in those brief highlights we all saw from that game in India - certainly more to work with than Webster who is their other option whenever they don't pick a specialist. If I wasn't picking a spinner at all (as Tassie often don't) and it was a close call between him and another seamer, I'd absolutely pick him for the option of that.

Sandhu is a good chance of making the tassie one day team so a good showing in that tournament will give him a shot at making the Shield finalists lineup, who will be without Fekete (but will have Faulkner available probably).

Tasmania is becoming an absolute dumping ground
You will find that Tassie made the shield final this year with the most local players they have had several years.

Only Bird, Doran and Rogers were imports and all had good seasons

Yeah when you dump something off in Tasmania you can always get it back if it becomes useful again, eg. Ed Cowan
