There is speculation over hiring Jonty Rhodes as India's fielding coach and possibly Mike Bevan as India's specialist ODI coach on how to pace ODI innings.

I should hope so!ReallyCrazy said:I heard that John Wright's contract as coach of the Indian team ends later this year. Is it going to be renewed and is wright available for one more term?
But will he make it back in the International side?age_master said:haha i dont think bevan is quite done playing yet
I think the Indian catching is in pretty good shape. We have a very good slip cordon (and a brilliant forward short leg in Chopra if he plays). It's in one-day matches where although the ground fielding is decent the throwing especially from the deep is extremely poor and needs to be worked on.Arjun said:If you ask me, the team may need a fieling coach, and especially Ganguly, Nehra and Kumble. Even when winning, they dropped 5 catches! It's most disappointing when good fielders like Dravid and Sehwag drop catches.
I agree Marc. As we've seen with the selectors in the past they've made their beds on Bichel and Bevan - there's no chance of a recall. They only play their hand once.marc71178 said:But will he make it back in the International side?
I have my doubts to be honest.
Amazing how just before the SL tour there was a big call on here for him to play in the Tests over there, yet now he's been dumped completely!
