Just wanting to say, I agree with reporting the winning bids and players brought but don't reveal what the failed bids were. It makes it tougher and more fun that way.

Revealing failed bids lets us know who the other posters were looking to pick and how eager they were for them (based on the size of the bid). It also reveals some players who may not have been thought of by others and seeing them listed here, makes them sought after, thus removing the tactical aspect of a "silent" auction.
So yeah, keep them secret.

How exactly can a player be bid for and then not picked up? By definition if he's bid for then someone has a highest bid on him so picks him up,
