ODI Modern Country Draft (2000s)

Andy Flower was an exceptional player playing in a fairly new and weak ODI side yet he played some gems and I am confident enough to push him to bat at 3.
Haha yea Flower was a special player. oblongballs has just started watching cricket - ignore him.

I'm not saying he is a bad player but most of his achievements and reputation come from the test arena. In ODIs he was decent at best, then again, as a pick from the "other" category it's pretty good. He obviously isn't on the level of some of the other guys being picked though, that's all I meant.

9. Murali SL
10. Brett Lee Aus
11. Waqar Younis PAK

Brett Lee is my pick, so I can have 2 guys with SERIOUS pace, none of this 88mph malarky we see from so called "fast" bowlers today. Nicely complimented by the best spinner to grace the game.

Not trying to rub it in but I probably have the best bowling line up thus far.

Please don't come up with player names.
Thanks.
I didn't mention his name until after I worked out he was ineligible. I literally couldn't believe he hasn't been picked up until I figured out he was ineligible.

It would be like someone saying "I can't believe Sobers hasn't been picked". Anyway it's an interesting draft to follow along.

What's the rule? SCC hasn't come back since missing his last pick. Does he get 8 more hours now?

Scc mainly just picks players he likes, rarely does he seem like he's trying to win. I doubt he'd mind

Based on one of his posts, I don't think that's the case. Anyway, if you look at his picks, he seems to be playing this particular draft differently.

I do think he should be skipped if he's already missed a turn though. Otherwise we'd have to wait 16 hours since he has a double pick and it would probably suck the fun out of the draft.
