Jones' record is better at 3 and 4.

Edit: More specifically if I pick Jones at five I'm picking someone who averaged 37.6. If I pick Hughes I get someone who averaged 41. Deano averaged 56 at 3&4 combined, so is a better bet there.

Well that's a better justification. He was my favourite player as a kid so I remember him batting 5 a lot in tests. I will take your word on the record and you can vote however you want to of course. That's what makes this a great thread.
