Was Steve Waugh a selfish cricketer? - yes according to Chappelli

the big bambino

International Captain
His post wasn’t about disrespecting opponents. If anything it was about respecting an opponent that regularly gave his team a rough time.

after taking many beatings from the aussies I can tell you that Steve and ponting are disliked but even more so revered in SA because of the never give up,never die mentality...yes ponting was a slight dick on one or two occasions but that should not detract from the way they captained and from the way they played the game. TEST cricket must be played hard, you must toil, you must show the world what you and your team are made off. When its played according to a ***** menatality it normally makes for average to boring cricket
Ponting is also well-liked and highly revered in England........where he won them 3 Ashes series.

Strange he kept Mark Waugh and removed Steve Waugh from his list. He even forgot to keep Merve Hughes who was the highest wicket taker in 1993 Ashes.

Joe Root? Seriously? I know Big 4 is still thing and all and Chappelli writes about them every so often but guy is yet to score a hundred in Australia.
