Charming and Enchanting Wicket Celebrations

Really love Warnes three celebrations after removing Gibbs, Kirsten and Cronje in the space of two overs in the 99 WC semi

It'd been a very bad year for him up until that point so it was an awesome time to bounce back into form. Never again did he look so determined

Ambrose when he was pumped up was the coolest. Stumps flying out of the ground, fists pumping, his chain flailing all over the place, the high 5s. Coolest mofo ever

that's hideous and over the top. How is this any different to the Brett Lee chainsaw.
Your face is hideous and over the top.

It's different from the lame-ass Lee chainsaw because it's a spontaneous emotional celebration and not a pre-planned stock dance routine. You dumb ****.

tbf Ishants head slapping is also very emotional, spontaneous and.. primal, but yes, pumping of the fists is a very natural thing. The chainsaw is just cringe.

Ambrose is also overall on a different plane of coolness when compared to the man child lee.

Pre-meditated or not, such celebrations aren't 'cool'. You celebrate when something unexpectedly good happens to you. Taking a wicket shouldn't be an unexpectedly good thing. If you're a real badass bowler with tons of self belief, taking a wicket should just be expected. The norm. It's what you do all the time. Nothing worthy of wasting your energy on celebrating.

Look at Flintoff here:

Comeback game after ages off the field. Takes an absolute ripper of the catch. Shrugs his shoulders. No big deal. Its normal. It's just the way that I role. I'm just that damn good.

This is the definition of cool.

This also one of the few other occasions where it's still cool despite it being a tailender's wicket.

Anderson when he went up to Johnson at the non-striker's end. Earlier Johnson had been saying, ''not getting any wickets'' or some bollocks.
