Game 1 (Our very first)

New Vs The Stegnutz (Whingenutz)

It was a dark, cold night at the "Score", as the new boyz in the hood, "New" won the toss and elected to bowl. This team had not played as a unit before and was looking to make a good first impression. The bowling was opened up by Eddie, from the Victoria Street 'Netball' end. His bowling was erratic, bowling wides and no balls until finding his rythm in the 5th ball of the over. with Chaulk behind the stumps, toogood and steiner fieldin in close and paulie and danny makin up the backfield, this combination was a sure fire opening fielding strategy.

All in all a good effort for the first game, knocking over the home team for a total of 132 runs.

Batting

Discussion amongst the players came to the conclusion that the following team members will bat together. They were summarized as:

Opening Pair : Isaac and chaulky
Middle Order Batsmen : Covers and Danny
Lower Order Batsmen : Toogood and Paulie
Tailenders: Steiner and Eddie

Opening Pair: Isaac and Chaulky
With isaac's flair and chaulkys raw power, this duo was set for big runs and they made big runs with a total of 32.

Middle Order Batsmen: Covers and Danny
Batted superbly and the score showed, didnt make the big shots but combined well with lots of 2's and 3's. Scored a total of 41

Lower Order Batsmen: Toogood and Paulie
batted terribly....

Tailenders: Steiner and eddie
came in needing a alot of runs, and this was there downfall, crashed and smashed their way to a modest total of 14 runs.

Round 2 Results

Round 2

Titans Vs Mike Hunt Hertz (my **** hurts....stupid name)

This evening it was a new look titans team that took to the astroturf. With star batsmen Daniel "ando" andrijich out with a knee injury and the brilliant Stephen "covers" coverley out with soft tissue damage to his right ankle, it would be hard for the titans to find form. Isaac "funny bowling" yeo was dropped from the side given his poor form the week before.

The replacements, Adam " adam" Grizinich, Brent "Steiner" Stein and daniel "rabbit" coverley had big shoes to fill.

Mike Hunt Hertz won the toss and elected to bat, it was a good choice in that the pitch was hard and the ball was coming onto the bat quite nicely.

Oposition Batting
The batting display by the opposition was cheeky and downright annoying, sneaking runs here and there and moving around the crease before the ball has been bowled. The opening pair made a valliant 24 with some great fielding from rabbit, adam and paulie. The second batting pair were absolute tools, they moved around the crease to distract eddie and danced every ball. They ended up with a score of 32. The third batting pair showed class and determination and looked to be their best batsmen, after a late rally for wickets, they scored a total of 29. The last batting pair sucked, they got lucky with some wide bowling as the extras coloumn accounted for a large percentage of their score. They ended with 27.

Titans Batting

1st Pair (Jason Toogood and Luke Stein)
Trying to put his poor performance behind him, jason and luke set of making ground strokes to make the basis for a big total, hitting 13 off the first over and both hitting 6's in the next, made it 30 of 2 overs. It was then that jason lost his confidence and preceded to crumble under average bowling and poor footwork. They ended up with a total of 28.

2nd Pair (Paul Triscari and Eddie Kania)
well, what can we say about this partnership, lets jus say it will be tough for eddie and paulie to keep their places in the side following this weeks performance. Eddie and Paulie trounced their way to a total of -9, they walked off hanging their heads in shame.

3rd Pair (Rookie Brent Stein and Rookie Daniel Coverely)
They batted quite well under the circumstances, they showed great promise with the strong hitting of brent stein and the strokeplay of rabbit. THey came out unscathed but still beaten with a score of 5.

Last Pair (Ash Chaulk and Adam Grizinich)
A week long buildup with this batting pair has shown that they are compatible but need to work on communication and strokeplay, they ran their way to a tally of 23.

Well **** ayy the titans lost the toss and were sent in to bowl.

Stephen Coverley opened the bowling with his leg spin and it proved successful taking a few wickets.

A bit later on down the track and offspinner jason toogood was brought on and the out of form bowler bowled an over consisting of many 7's and even a wide 6 which equalled to 9.

great bowling by royden monteiro who played his first game.

Batting Was ****n ****

Started off with Luke "Jessica Simpson" Stein and Jason "Mr Economical" Toogood.
bowled here run out there a stein 7 and they ended with -3

Next pair were the two new players in Royden "sachin" Monteiro and Steven "Tall Man" Quaglia
went like this bowled bowled run out runout runout bowled runout until they ended with -29

Next Pair Ash "Around the wikit" Chaulk and Paul "wippy" Triscari
Made runs until the opposition bowled straight and got pauly out with pace.

Last Pair Daniel "Rabbit" Coverley and Stephen "Stumped again" Coverley
went looking for quick runs with stephen being stumped a number of occasions.. good to see first round draft pick rabbit charged the best bowler of there team and score a 3.

jus focus on consistant bowling and mainly batting, i think we fielded and bowled really well to hold them to 64

ok now what the **** we played awesome ayy.... our bowling was soo much better.. few dropped catches but that can be fixed....

Batting wise now if you remember last time we played these guys our highest partnership was -3... this time every partnership made positive runs... Big 7 from Eddie and Jase YEWWWWWWWWWWWww

Titans vs World '8'

Captain Ash Chaulk finally won a toss and sent the world 8 into bat.

The titans having half there team Missing, injured, sick or wateva had to play 1 man short with clayton, porks and Mr T having there 1st titans Cap.

our fielding was awesome we got tonns of runout but there were a few dropped catches. Toogood behind the stumps has pretty deadly whipin the bails off in a flash when he got tha chance.

pick of the bowlers would have to be pauly bowling it in the block hole as often as he could.

too many runouts and stupid shot selection by chaulk making there score only 10.

Well clayton aint the best batter now but jason made sure we got possitive runs here. 4

Mr T. and Benno(stole another teams best batter)
Mr Toogood showed us how the cheapy system works and by golly gosh they were great to watch... im sure we all learnt how to cheapy now. 17

overall we lost we could make excuses but i aint
