Should be a good series hopefully. We've selected some serious pace in this squad in Leveridge and Thomas so it should be a good test for the fringe Sri Lankan players too. Expecting big performances from Sunil Ambris, any of the openers, Rakheem Cornwall and the pacers.

Unfortunately, the coverage from WICB is dreadful with only sporadic tweets available. All I know is West Indies A won the toss and are 175/4 after 59 overs. John Campbell got 50, Vishal Singh is 36 not out and Sunil Ambis is 24 not out. I think Pushpakumara got 2 wickets but I'm not 100% sure.

Close of play West Indies A 232/4 in 76 overs. Singh and Ambris both 58 not out. No bowling figures as yet. If the pitch is the same as usual at this venue, I'd say advantage West Indies A but hopefully they've prepared it better than that. I guess we'll see.

Comprehensive innings win by the Windies.

Dhananjaya should be with the full Sri Lankan team.
