Sabba gets Cowan lbw for a run a ball 35. 4/80 odd. Fmd they might do this. Gonna be so good to be out there tomorrow.

Edit: and bowls Robertson too. 5/105. Can’t believe this. Surely they’ll stuff it up, they’re a Parramatta sporting team after all.

8/213 at lunch. Some gutsy batting by the Uni tail. They’re being bounced to oblivion

Basically the whole club was in the sheds for it. Brilliant stuff. Boys will be blotto tonight at the Royal Oak. Good luck to them, they’ve built the club up massively from where it was a few years ago.

Saw bits and pieces of it, Copperfield looks genuinely lively. Would he be a possible chance for Blues representation in the short to medium term?

mate every bowler in the state appears to be a possible chance of getting a game

and then being dropped

and then being recaled three games later

He played nsw under 21s a year or two back and is in the Thunder development squad too. Took 47 wickets fo the year which is a big effort playing half your games on the road that is Old Kings. The only bloke who looked comfortable against him was Cowan tbh.

He’s such a quiet kid. It’s a shock seeing him so aggressive on the field. Asked him if there was any chance of him pitching it up and was told “no”. Which, tbf would be my approach too if I could bowl fast. He’s certainly faster than Abbott and apparently been clocked in the 140s so he’s got wheels.

Just so happy for these blokes. Ten of them are local juniors, and Jack White is a visiting Pom.
