Draft suggestion: Passengers XI

kingkallis

International Coach
A worrying middle order though - any one of them might buck the trend, just occasionally
Even Zimbabwe and Bangladesh produced some upsets so I have to live with that.

I am trying to pick players who actually 'were' passengers alongside some really amazing teammates.

I always found it rather suggestive of New Zealand's perpetual struggle for quality that a batsman with such an appalling record played so long, and was captain too.

A correction to kingkallis's total below - I think my script to calculate the W-L number got confused between the two JP Duminys who have played for SA (I'm assuming he's picking the modern one). Sorry about that.

I'll pick Bill Playle, whose record for NZ in the 1958 tour of England (4, 8, 1, 3, 0, 18, 15, 1, 6) is statistically the worst for a batsman who played an entire 5-match series.

I shall have to think about my next pick, but it won't be Dinesh Karthik, who I might as well tell you now is the pick TBP has asked me to make for him for this round
