    The Records and Milestones thread

Just somewhere to post whenever someones sets a record or passes a milestone you feel is noteworthy or interesting, especially if it might pass people by for whatever reason

For example, in the currently ongoing SL/India ODI, MS Dhoni completed his 100th ODI stumping, being the first to achieve this.

The way he was going in this match, he could have easily cracked at least 10 sixes.

Hey we invented the 100 100s for Sachin, y not the 100 50s for Thala Dhoni?
We miss you, Fardin. :(. RIP.

    Tendulkar and Dravid have 164 and 145 50s respectively. 100 50s isn't very notable.

SeamUp pointed it out in the match thread, but for those that missed it, Yasir Shah became the first spinner ever to take a 5fer in five consecutive tests

Unless you count Sydney Barnes as a spinner (the overall record seems to be 6, by Barnes, Charlie Turner and Alec Bedser). Slightly surprised that Murali never achieved this.
