Cricketer Of The Year
Not sure if there's already a thread for this, but I was wondering which World Series cup moments/matches really stick out in your memory. To clarify, I'm talking about the World Series cup/tri-series that operated in Australia from 1980 until the mid to late 00's. Not Packer cricket.
My favourite: Mr Cool, MSD, helping India to a tie with Sri Lanka in 2012. This result helped India reach the final & was possibly the best exhibition of death overs batting I've seen. The atmosphere during that match was electric & Dhoni couldn't have scripted his innings any better.
On a side note, wasn't it cool how back in the day all of the touring teams were kitted out in similar uniforms? Which uniform was your favourite? Personally, I liked the "Venetian blinds" design they had in the mid-90's.
Even RSA wearing predominately red seemed to work for some reason.
