Had to go find footage of this guy. Technically I can see where he'd struggle - he drops his front arm a bit early and lets his right shoulder do the work, but he looks immensely strong and already has loads of pace.

Speaking of guys who started off quick, how's Ronsford Beaton going currently?

There's some novelty in seeing Mohammad Sami bowl these days.
Yep he looks really good. Definitely needs some FC games to see how that action holds up over 4 days. Really exciting though.

Beaton is looking a bit better now, though he doesn't get in Guyana's FC team, he's a white ball specialist. His pace never really improved, he can get up to 143kph ish but not for a sustained period of time.

Any doubts as to why Courtney Browne won't select Rakheem Cornwall were laid bare in the CPL match yesterday.

He bowled superbly in a high scoring match and smashed 70 odd opening the batting. But during his innings he was absolutely knackered, could barely run towards the end and retired hurt after getting hit in the belly by a vicious short ball from.....Kieron Pollard.

The man has to sort his fitness out. We've got a hell of a cricketer on our hands if he can just lose a bit of weight and work on his fitness. It's a senseless waste of talent at the moment,

I told a high ranking member of the WICB around a year ago that they should offer the kid a deal that if he can lose two stone he will gain himself an automatic West Indies contract for a year minimum. But they didn't listen and every year that goes by is another year that Rakeem wastes. Because in reality, he should be our number one spinner in the test team right now instead of Bishoo. He'd also add depth to our batting aswell.

Because of the test tour in England I haven't been paying this years CPL tournament too much attention unless I know a young cricketer I've got an eye on is playing. Last night was truly eye-opening as I saw Oshane Thomas bowl for the first time.

I had come across him before the last Under 19 WC. It was said he was a yard quicker than Alzarri Joseph but without the control so he didn't make the final 15. Last night he was bowling 150kph outswingers with a lovely clean action. He's tall as well so gets good bounce. He got Gayle out lbw with an inswinger 3rd ball after troubling him with the short ball. What an unbelievable prospect! Get that man into FC cricket ASAP.
He's in the Jamaica squad for the next first class season. And boy yard is gonna be quick man because Leveridge is there too. Hopefully Oshane will step up to the plat and add to the growing number of young pacers that are emerging in the region. Harding and Chemar Holder at Bim, Shepard at Guyana, Mccoy and Lewis at Winwards etc.

As I continue to watch Bravo's celebration all throughout this CPL, I am convinced that he's under the influence. DWI- dancing while intoxicated.

That was insane. I was wondering if someone might engage in some chicanery to stop him getting his hundred, and so it came to pass.

Seriously who would do that? Pathetic.

He always seemed like such a cool friendly guy as well

Lol, seeing a few angry videos on Pollard's actions popping up in my youtube recommendations.

Pollard what an absolute dickhead. I've always enjoyed seeing his nothing bowling getting smashed, now I will extra pleasure in seeing him get slaughtered. Lets see if anyone has the guts to ban him as Sri Lanka did with Randiv.
