It is a pretty mediocre batting line up, dear Bharani. Stollmeyer was an opener (and they still haven't punished his killers which tortures my soul). So move him up, and Katich can bat at 3. Still, I can back your bowling line up, but your batting can fold in tough conditions. My two cents, which no one asked for....

Lol.. with that bowling line up I wont need to score THAT many runs, plus you are forgetting that my #11 averages 23 in tests with the bat my friend.

Tricky one - really wanted another opener but with just Guyana and the Windwards left it was a choice of Steve Camacho or making someone else do the job - in the end I gave it to Tom Graveney - he didn't like opening but did occasionally and once took a century off Lindwall and Miller doing so, so in that sense better qualified than Camacho

So Joe Solomon or Roger Harper? Harper has a modest record with the bat (and a surprisingly good one with the ball) at Test level, but a much better batting record taking into account all First Class cricket so, given he'll save me 20-30 runs an innings in the field and run plenty of batsman out as well, he gets the nod even though I am left with a bit of a tail
