The normal awards that everyone else has
Rod Marsh'd be alright here too. Old Iron Gloves.

Maybe Bob Simpson too. Over 50 innings to make a ton then he made a 300

TestMatch

U19 Cricketer
Gilchrist, according to Waugh's biography, used to read books on Marxist theory and anti-capitalism in the changing room, so he deserves a spot.

Since some of the original XI seem to be picked on the grounds of one bad Test (e.g. Hutton), you could include Bradman (18 & 1, dropped). Viv Richards (4 & 3), or Imran Khan (5 & 0-55, and didn't do much in his next Tests 3 years later).

Wait whats the qualification rule? Screw up 3 hi-fives in 3 days?
Criteria are as follows:

- spend the bulk of your career as a second Xi journeyman
- abandon your cricketing principles all of a sudden when you have a sniff of the England captaincy
- convince people that they can score 800 runs a day without losing wickets any quicker
- make a habit of shaking hands with matchfixers and then act outraged when the opposition pick Mohammed Amir
- after day one of a test match find your team bowled out for 120, and the opposition
200-1 for close. They go onto score 600. In the second innings lead your team to 530. They crumble in the chase, eventually scoring 51-8 to end the match. In the post-match press conference you claim this means you've won
- be an absolutely ****ing stupid, good for nothing, Venezuela loving, Stalinist whopper

You want me to choose eleven cricketers who support terrorist organisations? Hmm, let me see...

This is like the Aussie's recent performance in India. From jubilation and ecstacy to depression as you realise your side didn't actually win.
