Breetzke's SA u19 opening partner, Jiveshan Pillay, with 2 good innings in a row. Like Ngidi, Titans got him from KZN Inland at Maritzburg College just not Hilton like Ngidi.

Rickelton is surely playing franchise cricket before the end of season.

Thought Migael Pretorius was quicker. He certainly can be so. Corbin Bosch was surprisingly quicker 138-140

Bonus point win for Gauteng. Class innings by Rickelton & I had heard about Sayanvala's hitting ability and the 6 to win was as big a 6 as you will see. 2 players with nice futures ahead of them.

Gauteng production line. KES, St Stithians, St Johns, St Davids

The Lions batsman contracted : Cook, vd Dussen, R.Hendricks, Ramela, D.Hendricks, vd Bergh, Lubbe, Valli is so average.

They have Rickelton, Ackerman & Sayanvala waiting in the wings who should surpass those contracted players with ease. There is talk about J.Malan but not overly impressed.

Rickelton's classmate at St Stithians & former SA u19 team mate Marques Ackerman just hasn't been phased by 145kph Magala. Some of the drives from him are next level.

Only seen a few balls of Breetzke and they were 2/3 but I will stick my neck out and say special special talent.

A cover drive on the up for 1 and pull for 6 in front square and its easy to say that. Just hope to god his development is looked after.

Disappointing knock by Moonsamy. Two good lefties in now in Pillay and Hermann for Northerns.

When Magala gets it right he can be very good but his bad is something to behold. Started well this morning with the impressive Nortje (hits the pitch hard and accurate).

Just imagine a good SA u19 coach working with the obvious talent in that team right now.

New name. Left-arm quick Nandre Burger.

Shapes away or comes back in off the seam at 137-142 and he looks strong as an ox.

Just removed the impressive Ackerman.

2nd week in a row, the pitches aren't ideal for T20

For Potch in particular. 4 weeks till the first test v Bangers and the ball is spinning like a top and there are puffs of dust. They will be licking their lips.

Guy in my cricket club sat next to Devon Conway on a plane recently. Apparently Conway is off to NZ to play for Wellington.

Oh boy, fancy Wellington ending up with little speculative investments in Nofal, Pienaar and now Conway, all in a juggling act.

Nofal (Good to see Wellington contract for him) and Conway are very good friends. Probably helped set the move up for him. Watching him bat makes me cry that it didn't work out here.

I noticed Obus Pienaar played for SWD last weekend in the Africa Cup. Nothing to think he isn't going back is there ?

All in all be good to see Bowes qualify soon too. (Contracted by Canterbury).

There was a few shots (like how he got inside the line of the ball and played the drive on the up) and the way he held himself at the crease that reminded me of a Daryll Cullinan in his pomp.
Hopefully that does not include the manner in which Cullinan played the slower bowlers.....
