On reflection probably should have voted for OS's side, but went for Red Hill (despite his dire selection policy), Morgie and Jimmy

Could just of easily made 11 votes, but for personal reasons here are my favourite teams.....

Mr_mister: Despite not being a big fan of Zaheer Abbas unless he's playing an ODI this is my favourite team in the Draft. With Evans and Bedser paired together, two Australian icons opening, three of the greatest West Indian batsman of all time, plus Ambrose opening the attack with Constantine it's an interesting blend of characters and a perfectly balanced team.

Morgieb: Morgie has pretty much reached drafting nirvana with his team. A purest may bump the capable Marshall up to No.8 and play Prasanna, but Ashwin is almost on a par with his mentor these days anyhow. The batting has everything with Viv Richards the star, but it's really the trio of Marshall-Holding-Garner that steal the show; especially with Engineer behind the stumps.

AndrewB: The first two names that you notice at the bottom of the order are Anderson and Broad, who are pretty good, but not quite ATGs. However, if you add Imran, Tate, and Warne then the attack is excellent. I normally don't like keepers in the top 6, but Lindsay is a first-rate specialist keeper who was used to batting up the order for South Africa. Imran and Tate are good bowling allrounders so there is no lack of batting depth, especially with Warne and Broad in the tail. Sutcliffe and Richards are a brilliant pairing at the top of the order, and Ponting-Weekes-Miandad look like a solid combination to me. Alł-in-all, a really nice team where the sum of the parts is significantly greater than the whole.

why is abbas held on such a lower level than miandad? ive noticed this throughout the forum the whole time ive been here. i always thought they were kinda considered on par with each other when i was younger

is it his lack of test hundreds?

Only 259 runs at 18.50 against the West Indian quicks might have something to do with it. And no centuries of course.

TBP, AndrewB and kingkallis for me.

Would've voted for morgieb if he had a genuine 5th bowler instead of a bunch of decent part timers. Apart from that, the team is basically perfect.
