Looks like AndrewB & HB went for couple of players who served them well in the inaugural sim league, Bates & Katich.

Once harsh has selected his squad we will enter the voting phase which will seed the teams into two groups of seven. I will post everyone's squads & ask everyone to rank them from 1 - 14, strongest to weakest. The results of this vote will determine which teams get seeded where, & if there are any teams tied on votes, I will be the tiebreaker.

After that I will create the tournament fixture & trial games will commence.

Few dominant first class players in there that I'm surprised didn't get picked up. Ponsford, Merchant, Freeman in particular.

Ah. Given that the games are being simmed in England, will the record in England be particularly important?
I wouldn't think so. I find that England tends to serve up a nice balance of all conditions. You'll find flat tracks, spinning decks and and greentops in almost equal measure. The weather also tends to change dramatically in Eng, as opposed to places like Pak & India where, in the game, it's always hot and the pitch is almost always a turner.

All of the games will be played at county grounds across England.
