They're well on track for in excess of 300 here, which means a 100+ runs deficit. The way the pitch is going, India might be able to defend 200, but that means scoring atleast 300 in the third innings against Starc/Haze/Lyon/SOK.

Even to defend 200, we will need Ashwin to bowl well, and not like how he's bowled today. Jaddu is going alright but the Aussies doesn't see too fussed by him in general. Ishant and Yadav aren't going to do anything.
