1) Bacchus and Ariadne

As Bacchus bowls a wayward delivery down the leg side, (probably due to attempting to do so while leaping from his cheetah-driven chariot), Ariadne turns to signal byes to the scorers. The wicketkeeper is furious and so are the crowd, who prepare to throw what appear to be paper hats onto the field.

2) Madam Mossetier signals one for the over

Mossetier making an error there towards the end of a one-day game, the ball barely reached chest height. Who'd be a bowler, eh?

3) Saint Albinus, Bishop of Angers signals no ball

Sadly there's work for the anti-corruption unit here as Albinus is clearly seen handing out coins to the match referee.

4) Jesus signals four

St Thomas remains incredulous, attempting to point out that the fielder stopped it short of the boundary, but he's just going to lose a portion of his match fee if he carries on like this

5) Virgin Mary is given out lbw

She gestures for it to be overturned on review, but it won't help. Look in t'book.

C'mon Howe, that's clearly a short run. She's clearly not impressed that someone could make such a silly error as not grounding their bat.

"Just a little bit away from you - yep, that's middle."
Umpire Christ helps the incoming batsman take guard but has actually given him off-stump.

After accusations of pretending to be injured to avoid bowling on a flat pitch, Jesus shut down his doubters by releasing an image of the puncture in his side.

1) Psyche signals four

Has the umpire forgotten that leg byes exist? It was nowhere near the bat ffs.

2) Edlinger gives his wife out

Sadly there are a few situations where whipping out a boob is unlikely to help you. This being one of them, Edlinger knowingly gestures toward the camera.
