T20 Tri-series

Yeah, I think this should be a pretty popular concept.

I guess another reason why I approve of this is that the only close contest between Aus and NZ in the whole of 2016 was a T20. There's only so many thrashings my little heart can handle.

I'm going to need to hear the opinions of posters and players as to the context of this series before I can start to get interested in it.

For those of us who grew up loving the ODI tri-series, I think it will have some nostalgic appeal. Sharing the hosting duties between Aus and NZ will avoid the issue of small crowds for games not involving the hosts, although the fact that it's T20 would probably improve those turnouts anyway.

First I've heard of it, and is an absolutely fantastic idea. Finally give at least some meaning to the format instead of the pointless 2 match T20I series we've been getting for 10 years

Yeah, I like the idea. Should create plenty of enthusiasm. I don't like international T20 and the usually slapped on 1/2 match rubbish series' at the end of tours, where everyone wants to go home..but this is great.
