With Viriya on this one. Can't remember Thorpe doing anything whatsoever in ODIs, though in his defence he was unlucky to be part of that '90s England side which might as well have been stuck in the '70s as far as limited overs was concerned. So I'd definitely take Arjuna over him no matter what their ODI stats are.

Was a fantastic Test bat though.

Dont think you are with viriya. He's saying the gap between them in ODIs in bigger than in tests. He's implying Thorpe was only a slightly better test bat when he was a whole 5 levels or something higher.
