Greg Ritchie was pretty terrible. Historically, I imagine Bert Ironmonger would probably have been up there, given he debuted at 48 or something. In the same vein, Bob Holland was terribad too.

Greg Ritchie was awesome.

He is one of those players who were continually crap and not up to the standard yet completely worth his place due to intangible awesomeness. Perhaps the greatest such player.

Chris Cairns was one of the best outfielders there was. Pretty much every throw of his in from the deep was right over the bails.
