Can't back Marshall for man of the match with 3-70 and 2-62

Lloyd's big ton to set up the match having come in at 55/3 the telling hand surely

Marshall got a fifty as well probably that was taken into account but yeah Lloyd should have been the man of the match

If I've done the sums right, Hendren was the only Eng-30 batsman to average over 40 (51.88), with Tate second on 39.50

Some pretty poor captaincy, too, by... Hammond, I guess - Larwood only took 11 wickets at about 28, while Voce took 16 at well over 40. Woolley ended up as the star bowler (and he should also have bowled more, with 13 wickets at about 22).

no need to re-run 1st test lol he wouldn't have won us that game. But just have him for next test, our team lacks batting and has more than enough bowling firepower, so Edrich for Bailey is necessary
