Tastle WAG.
Mark Gillespie for some reason, made me think thats what Mitchell Johnson would bowl like with a high arm action...and right handed.Agree hence the Mark Gillespie comparison. He was always a rig.
What sort of gas do you reckon he gets it through at? About the same as Matt Henry? Late 130s, touching on 140..I have liked the look of Ferguson from the little I have seen over the past 12 months though. He set Marshall up really well today, pushed square leg back and straight away had him stuck on the crease.
140, he definately has some wheels behind him. But yeah Matt Henry type speeds wouldn't surprise me.What sort of gas do you reckon he gets it through at? About the same as Matt Henry? Late 130s, touching on 140..
Was pretty surprised to see him up sticks to Auckland, and then get a first class spot straight away. Scored some important runs in the first innings though ... but less said about the bowling figures ...a guy in Hutchinson who I have no idea how he's still a thing at this level. He was the worst of the lot from what I saw.
It's a shame Dean Bartlett seems to have disappeared. Always kind of rated him.
They picked up Cody Andrews too who wasn't up to much with Northern Districts. Was pretty surprised to see him up sticks to Auckland, and then get a first class spot straight away. Scored some important runs in the first innings though ... but less said about the bowling figures ...
the problem is they do. franklin, munro, cdg and all the other techniqueless wonder allrounders justify their spots with big runs at five and six. Munro even broke his own law by tonning up at #4.NZ needs quotas.
There, I said it.
Quota's to ensure only 1 bits and pieces player is picked and bats no higher than 7. The top 6 all have to be specialist batsmen. Make them live on the merits of their chosen discipline.
Nah **** Munro's law; lets talk about Tastle's 195. Get him in for Nicholls.the problem is they do. franklin, munro, cdg and all the other techniqueless wonder allrounders justify their spots with big runs at five and six. Munro even broke his own law by tonning up at #4.
Munro's Law - runs scored at position #5 or below in a FC innings don't count - needs to be more strictly followed when rating players.
#ididntstartthefire #antiNDagendalets talk about Tastle's 195. Get him in for Santner.
I know, and I don't care. I still want him in the side for an extended run, no matter how terrible he looks.
