Allrounders XI vs. Specialists XI

Not sure that 65-65 is quite right Red Hill for Jack Gregory. Yes he did average 37 with the bat, but the fact is he spent most of his career at No.8 and No.9 and was one of Australia's greatest new ball bowlers.

I see him as roughly equivalent to Stuart Broad or Mitchell Johnson with the bat. All good clean hitters who can score well on a good day. But against quality bowling or on a dodgy wicket their techniques would get found out. Basically no where near the class of a consistent opener like Trevor Goddard.

It's just my opinion.

You will note that I've ranked Imran's bowling at 90. Rate him very very highly as a bowler, not as highly as a batsman. Reckon both Dev and Botham were clearly better batsmen than Imran (in spite of what their averages suggest), while being slightly lesser bowlers.

Red Hill you've given Aubrey Faulkner the 5th best batting rating yet have him as your 11 wtf lol
Was just chucking a bunch of similarly talented all rounders in a team tbh. Didn't expend a heap of thought into the batting order besides the openers and the #3 and Sobers.

Except that Gregory made 13 FC centuries from 129 matches, while Broad has made 1 century from 157.
