Screw seeding. The best player will win regardless without adding an element of bias to it that will automatically prejudice things.

So why pick 32 then, why not just 16 as all the first round will be pretty much white washes if you seed.

No it won't.. if you seed you will have close matchups in every round.. #16 vs #17 in the first round for example.
