He is always grumpy. Pay him no heed.
"This is a clash of strategy. And of methods, culture and politics. This is a new-era rivalry. Not as ancient as the Ashes, or as passionate as India-Pakistan. Two countries that are so different, yet share rampant egotism, high self-opinion and a belief that being born in their country is superior to other births. This brings together a belligerent bunch of brats, bullies and braggers."- Jarrod Kimber

I find it unlikely marc has actually watched much Test cricket in Bangladesh recently.

also I don't believe he rates their bowling attack that highly either. he's just contrarian for the sake of it whenever i give an opinion. and got irrationally mad at the fact i said 'lol' and 'lmao' a few times like he thinks it's a sign of low intelligence or something. just dont understand what his beef is

What I find interesting about this list is that all four elements are ODI achievements, and in ODIs Bangladesh are a proud member of the "top eight".

Should Bangladesh therefore beware of themselves?

I'd like to hear kiwiviktor's thoughts.

He used to do the same thing with me. I just ignored him. I'd suggest you do the same.

Umm that's the case for a lot of people on here and it's annoying when they still insist on posting about Bangladesh

That it with the marc baiting? Srsly BD's main concern would be to nullify our pace bowling and that could be achieved on a sub con turner as a road. You don't think they'd have been tempted passively witnessing our previous sub con debacles? They could've picked John Howard and still rolled us.

Are they booming through the crease? They're the Mark Gillespie of the world?

But that's what a lot of people are saying. They haven't really managed that in the test matches they played last year on roads. They only posted one good total on an absolute road, but the rest of the time, they failed to post great totals.

I remember at the time being a little worried about the tour. I cant recall all the circumstances but had something to do with our recent poor form and BD performing better than usual in combination with our sub con wobbles. Maybe I exaggerated their improvement but was readying myself for a whole lot of platitudes in case they won (which would have been deserved). I think if the tour take place now I'd be a lot more confident even accounting for the emergence of Taskin and Mustafizur.

If Bangladesh played Australia in a Test series in India, there'd be cause for concern. But the roads in Bangladesh are just too roady for Australia to have lost that series as it was, IMO.

Also, the format is important here. In ODIs, it's 50-50 and no one should be surprised if Bangladesh wins a home ODI series against Australia.. Tests, Australia should win comfortably. Lyon would be enough to bowl out Bangladesh who were getting out to Duminy and Harmer against South Africa.
