Is Tendulkar a jerk?

The Battlers Prince

International Vice-Captain
Seriously though, I feel a bit lead on, that Tendulkar always kept quiet through his playing days and the cane out with lots of cry baby complaints after he'd finished. Definitely a jerk

That's what made him awesome. He kept it in for 20 years and then **** on everyone.

Not really. He was just like another player crying away after retirement in this regard. Plus, not speaking during his playing career put him in bad light.

Didn't attend Rajya Sabha after being nominated and later sent a letter saying he was sick, thus could not attend.

No he wasn't. Dravid hasn't come out after retirement and **** on everyone.

**** that'd be cool if he did it. He should write a book and say how he declared on Tendulkar before his 200 in 2004 on purpose because Tendulkar was going too slow and he didn't give a **** about his milestone. Would be ****ing amazing.

Shoaib Akhtar, Steve Waugh, Sachin Tendulkar. Dravid is different class as he didn't do it.

Nah he was just poor and desperate and looking for a coaching gig. Tendulkar so rich, he don't give a ****.

Tendulkar did raise his points when he felt so with his team tbf. However, he had such a stature and didn't speak much about controversial topics whole playing. That wasn't great and has come under fire rightly. When match fixing happened, he didn't speak on it. For the public, it would have meant a fair bit if he had talked his mind at the time.

Pratters you are no fun in this thread. You just post random points, some valid, some that no one really cares about.

That he is rich and didn't need a book to make money is beside the point. Doesn't make crying over every thing after being silent for 20 years any less stupid.

Did Ganguly ever write a post-retirement book? Can't remember.

Surely it would be awesome. A chapter dedicated to Sanjay Bangar running him out no doubt.

A lot of cricketers do it. Doesn't mean all of them do. Ganguly did cry over Chappell later though not in book form.

What did he cry about? Honestly did not read the book because I did not want Boria to make any money.

Greg Chappell mainly. I don't care too much if he wrote a book later or not. That he kept completely mumb most of the time during his career was weird to see. Match fixing was the time when it felt the crappest. The most we heard from the Indian team was Kumble I think who said it would be difficult for fans to trust performances of even honest players now.

Tendulkar said in his book that he wasn't aware re the match fixing much. This was years later after the event. When Cronje match fixing happened, the south African team mates commented. Donald expressed total shock for instance. Tendulkar was notable for not speaking on key issues during his playing days. Shastri used to say that he lets his bat do the talking. Heh.
