Surprising lack of ATG pace spearheads in this draft, so I'll go for Howe (great team, has everything), JC ( Insanely good bowling attack, and while the batting doesn't have that one really big gun, it makes up with good depth) and mr_mister (ridiculously good batting, excellent pace attack). AZH and Jimmy unlucky to miss out.

Thanks Jimmy. If the teams are unique with a lot of fresh players then you know that its been an excellent draft!

All of the teams are very close, but I like Howe's the best because Freeman finally gets a run - England's greatest leggie. Having Ward behind the stumps is a nice touch as he kept wicket to Faulkner and the other great South African googly bowlers of the time. Freeman is complemented by Tayfield and a couple of quality quicks. Grace, Stoddart, Abbas and Trumper make the batting very attractive. Mitchell, Waugh, and Ward make it stubborn.

Cudos to AZH for scoring both O'Reilly and Warne. Needless to say Mitchell - Botham - Giffen - O'Reilly - Warne is a top notch attack. The batting lacks a Gold Tier batsman, but its still consistently good from top to bottom. Balance is everything.

Not sure who my third favourite is yet.

Not voting for yourself ****?

Cleary Mr Mr's team is the best. Amazing side.

But I didn't vote for him. Instead I chose the 3 sides who I would enjoy watching the most if they actually played. Ironic given I would rank my side the least in that criteria

Very close between J_C and AndyZaltzHair for best, then a (small) gap, then very close between any number of teams for third.

Don't see why we should considering J_C is even with him & Howe & Andy are just one vote behind. The vote closes on Thursday so anyone who hasn't voted please jump on in!

Boom! J_C moves in to the lead.

MR, Howe & Andy all in second place only a vote down. Tense stuff.

Congratulations Howe. Surely this win must be dedicated to the cavalry. I'd say you owe them a shout out on your next podcast!
