that Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli got a century. Again. He now has 25 ODI centuries. And he's the quickest to reach the mark, taking only 162 innings. That's incredible! And averages over 50. Is he a guaranteed pick in the ATG ODI team now?

The normal awards that everyone else has
He's a contender. But there's also Viv, Ponting and AB DeVilliers to contend for those #3 - #5 spots

Actually Amla is a decent shout to be Tendulkar's opening partner in an ATG ODI XI.

Amla
Tendulkar
Kohli
Viv
Bevan
Dhoni
Klusener

- this is a solid top 7

Gilchrist
Tendulkar
Kohli
Richards
Ab
Afridi
Imran
Akhtar
Malinga
McGrath
Murali

Didn't put much thought Into this have probably missed out some obvious starters but this would be my odi xi. Only thing is its a long tail for a one day side starting at 8

Williamson will struggle to finish with 25 tons in his career.

Steve Smith imo. Best batsman in the world to watch

Akhtar ahead of Akram in an AT ODI XI :blink::blink:
Not necessarily picked the best 5 bowlers 5 batsmen and all rounder. Tried to get the perfect mix for an odi side.
Pace- akhtar
Control- McGrath
Death- malinga
Swing/reverse- imran
Leg and off spinner
Afridi and imran get in cos they add to the batting a swell as being class bowlers

To me ODI stats are meaningless just the team performance is important. I never look at the player stats when a new batsmen or bowler comes on. He can score as many 100s and runs as he likes in ODIs, he's still got a poor Test average.
