"The selectors have a great opportunity to get rid of both Waughs right now. They've dropped them out of the one-day squad and I can't see any reason why they should even play Test cricket again. They've had their time and now it's time to rebuild."

What do you guys think of a comment like this? Just because a player is 37 does that mean that once he had a bad innings or two then he's out of test cricket?? Does age really matter??
I think that if a player is scoring runs (whether he's 20 or 40) and he's in the best XI in the country then he should be an automatic selection. Cricket "experts" like Neil Harvey are probably just making these commments because they didn't get to play at age 37 or 38 themselves...
