Keep working on this guys.. Within a day or so we should be able to prove that Pranav is India's Ahmed Mohamed.

Encouraging signs for Pranav, critics are already trying to talk him down.

Totally on the mark. Regardless of the veracity of the claims or the accuracy of the scoring, I don't see how it can be seen as an achievement to beat a bunch of children who are clearly well out of their depth.

All that this is going to achieve is an albatross around the batsman's neck - as the 628* was for AEJ Collins - and a target on his wicket.

'Twas bullying definitely. But having a target on your wicket can be a good thing for players of a certain kind.

Tall Poppy Syndrome doesn't make the points he raises invalid tho tbf.

Sometimes questioning seemingly remarkable events is a good thing.

Agreed. Everything about this "record" feels hollow.

His coaches are ****s. Bowling a side out for 30 and then running up that kind of score is chicken****. Hope his team get murdered by better opposition.

nrr or runs scored for/against? It really is a step too far though, any good captain like Smith would have declared while he was on 986*
Assuming this was a 2 day game? When I played juniors winning a 2 day game in 1 was considered the ultimate FU to the opposition.

It is amusing to think about how early the 9 commentators would have got on the declaration train. "Look they have 100, that's more than 3 times what the others scored they really should be declaring now."

If Smith was captain then a declaration right before the 628 (like a Voges milestone) would have been funny.

So the coach rocks up with an underprepared, undersized side and then whinges because this happened?

Most likely didn't have a say.. + a good opportunity to show up the principal who dares to priototize exams over cricket.
