63* vs. West Indies at Port of Spain, 1995
152* vs. England at Lord's, 1989
151* vs. New Zealand at Wellington, 2000

Could've included his other knock at Manchester in 97 too, but I didn't really want to include two innings from the same game.

Shane Watson
126 vs. India at Mohali 2008 - The best knock in India by an Australian since Dean Jones himself ascended to godhood at Madras
6/33 vs. Pakistan at Leeds 2010 - The greatest showcase of swing since Akram and Younis were around
5/17 vs. South Africa at Cape Town 2011 - Literally better than Philander's meme bowling effort in the same game
93 vs. Pakistan at Melbourne 2009 - Unstoppable until that macho meme **** Katich ran him out.
176 vs. England at The Oval 2013 - Destroyed Kerrigan's international career and turned the frustration of being bullied so relentlessly into fire

5) vs aus
your team is missing three batsmen by the end of this innings due to the thuggery of your opposition, australia, who are some of the biggest home town bullies in world cricket. your contribution is not enough as all your partners fall around you and your team loses by an innings and 20 runs, but you have done your best and stayed resolute in the face of massive adversity

4)vs sa
south africa and their feared bowling attack are no match for you as you flay their attack of steyn, morkel, tahir, de lange and kallis to help set a competitive first innings total of 335. your team is going to go on to win by 208. go you.

3) vs india
india are a terribly tough opposition at home, and especially when arguably the best spinner in the world at the time is operating on a rank turner. one short of a milestone you perish going hard at one of their piechuckers for the team's acceleration of your team's score while batting with number ten with only the number eleven left.

2) vs england
your average has been 4.5 in five of your most recent innings, two of which were a part of a king pair. your captain is at the other end and you need to stick around to let him get his century. you're setting a target and when you come in you're not even at 200 ahead and it's looking dire at five down. until you get run out you help save the game and the team, and later would go on to take the winning catch.

1) vs india
this is your highest ever test score against the feared four bowler trio of ishant/mithun/ojha/bhajji/sehwag. you're short of a century when you're robbed by a declaration nine down, not even given the chance to have a slog for it. you helping get your team to 520 though helps your team to beat india by ten wickets.

in order these scores are 11*, 34, 49, 48, and 80*.

your name is rangana herath.

SehWAG:

1) 201*(231) out of a total of 329 at Galle 2008 vs Murali, Mendis, Vaas.

The SehWAG moment: Refusing to take a single on 199* to shield Ishant.

2) 83 (68) Chennai 2008. Chasing 387 for a win, smashes 80 off in no time and gives the innings incredible momentum.

The SehWAG moment :Intentionally bunts a ball into the ground to bounce it over the slip cordon.

3) 155 vs Australia Chennai 2004: ATG attack, tricky pitch, amazing knock.

The SehWAG moment: Smacking a Warne leg break wide of mid wicket with one leg in the air

4) 319 (304) vs SA: Fastest triple ever, utterly brutal and chanceless innings against Steyn/ntini/Morkel/Kallis. People would be jizzing all over themselves if someone else (ie) someone not expected to play like this did it.

The SehWAG moment: Destroying a good length ball from Ntini over extra cover, sending it 15 rows back.

5) 293 (254) vs SL: Sheer devastation. Scores 284 in 79 overs on day 2 on a pitch which "had turn and bounce and the conditions provided swing to keep the bowlers interested".

The SehWAG moment: Reverse paddle sweeping a Murali doosra for 4.
What was the innings when he scored 180-odd in no time at all, then either got so bored he cbf or basically fell asleep at the crease and missed a straight one? That should be up there. Think it was against SL.

1) 1* - came in at no. 11 and needed 1 off the last over to win. Blocked out the first four balls before stealing a quick single.
2) 36 - high score against a bunch of scrubs
3) 5 - was insanely drunk, can't remember much but I recall hitting a boundary through second slip.
4) 22 - promoted to opener and actually played some good shots before being bowled by a 45 year-old spinner.
5) 0 - didn't actually make any runs but there was some guy in the opposition who kept making racist remarks so I fought him in the car park after the match.
