I would imagine of you were picking an all time England XI Rhodes would go in as the first choice left arm spinner.

Verity, Blythe Peel and Briggs would be considered but, over all, Rhodes would win the spot.

People in the game who saw them put Rhodes at the top of the tree as a bowler, some give the edge to Blythe but it's close, Peel and Briggs were more dangerous batsman but Rhodes was sound enough to open the batting at Test level.
